Mountain Bikers Whine about Possibly Having to Pay to Ride theirIllegal Trails

Subject: Outspoken MTBers on CBC Radio
Date: Thu, 1 May 2014 17:49:21 -0700

Dear Friends: The mtbers continue to whine about the need to keep their illegally built trails...Listen to the drivel...
The interview starts around the 00:30:00 mark in the May 1st interview at the link below.
They never stop trying to claim the illegal trails they built... this time in Cypress/BP area, in West Van, BC. British Properties don't think mountain biking brings added value to the area (as stands now, with the "freeride"), and have posted No Trespassing signs that the mountain bikers ignore, and want to ride the private land where they build their illegal trails. Go figure? The interview starts at the .30.00 mark on the May 1 edition. The British Properties want to "monetize" their trails, and mtbers think it all sooo unfair that they may end up having to pay to play? Boo hoo. On the other hand, the mtbers say they will have to use "another strategy" if BP kicks mtbing off their private land altogether. MTBers have used scofflaw tactics all the time to "ensure" their freeride status quo remains. What else is new. Bring in the clowns...
