IMBA Continues Promoting Habitat Destruction Everywhere

They continue spreading the same old myths: building new trails "increases tourism and hence improves the economy, reduces conflicts on the trails, improves people's health, and is fun". (But what the heck is "more progression"???)

Why more trails close to home? Mountain biking opportunities where people live, work and play are powerful economic drivers for local businesses and can even turn around struggling communities. They offer equitable health and wellness benefits for residents. Even in places with many great trails, more trails close to home means less pressure on existing systems, less user conflict, more progression and more FUN.

This auction supports that work and so much more.

IMBA is a start-to-finish resource. We inspire and activate communities by evaluating and ranking them. We provide training for land managers and city leaders to understand and embrace mountain bike trail systems. We provide seed funding via grant programs to get new trails off the ground. We work with local organizations to grow volunteerism to maintain those trails.

The auction is open now through October 31 for bidding. Please support a bigger, brighter future for mountain biking by bidding or donating, today.

Thank you for your support!
