Your continued attempts to use the deaths of others to support your

quixotic
quest to ban mountain biking is truly pathetic. You have a mental illness,

Mike...please seek help.

Or, shut the hell up. Either way, go away.

The flaws in what you both are saying he

A) That Mikey will allow any new information to enter his mind. He
does not recognize any source besides himself as valid.

B) That Mikey cares even slightly about other people. He ranks all
microorganisms above all humans other than himself. He does not care
about the safety of others, and certainly not about social
interaction.

C) That any of this is about anything other than feeding Mikey's
martyr complex and ego. He does not really care about the environment,
all he cares about is feeling that he is right about everything, and
superior to others.

D) All Mikey wants is attention, and he cannot discern between
positive and negative attention. He only cares about "winning" in his
own mind, by his own standards.

E) Mikey will never stop posting where he is not relevant and not
wanted, and he will never seek professional help. He believes that he
is right, and his psychological issues prevent him from acknowledging
the real world.

F) When all is said and done, Mikey has a negative impact on
protecting the environment, because his presence prevents reasonable
discussions about the environmental impact of recreation.

Really? Well, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission,
basketball is actually the sport responsible for the most injuries.
Perhaps you could bugger off to bother a basketball newsgroup instead?

On Mikey's brief crusade against cell phone usage, he posted to the
same 5 groups he always posts his anti-mountain bike crusade in,
instead of actually relevant groups.

Either he is stupid, or does not care if anyone takes him seriously.

(This not not preclude both of the above being true.)

I dunno, if people didn't keep fanning his flames he would likely go away or
at least post a lot less, and there wouldn't be nearly such a low s/n ratio
in this group. To be honest, I view people who reply to his posts as being
every bit as destructive as he is himself.

While this is more nearly on-topic compared with many of your posts, it
has nothing whatever to do with modifying the gene pool thorugh natural
selection.

Certainly interesting for Mikey to talk about natural selection,
considering his own choice to guarantee the world no future Mikey Jr.

The above story is just another case where he cannot distinguish
between bicycling trails, roads, and hiking trails.

Mikey knows all about safety on bicycles, including his advice to
deliberately wobble in front of cars while riding on the roads.

But he will stop at nothing in his cause, no matter how many people he
hurts, or how much he damages his own stated goals, or how little he
actually accomplishes.

Mike, can you suggest a tire with better grip that would add to the
safety of trail riding?

He obviously outrode the ability of his tire, or ANY tire, to grip.
