Mayo commits a MAJOR faux paux!!

Hey,

This photo (http://www.cyclingnews.com/road/2004...results/stage4)
will be the death of Mayo at Le Alpe d'Huez in the Tour de France.

It is the baseball equivelant of standing at the plate and watching
one of your home runs. In the Major Leagues, young guys will do that,
and it is a major sign of disrespect to a veteran pitcher. It usually
is remembered next time at the plate.

Mayo should have just kept his head down in a workmanlike respectful
manner.

Too bad. Now Lance will take the exact time out of Mayo in the next
uphill TT, as a way to send a message. Jordan used to do that with
points in the NBA. He'd school someone by the same number points, if
they ever got to boastful after a good performance. Very effective.

Thanks,
Ronde Champ (going to my first Tour de France in 2004!)

Admit it Kunich. This idiot makes the real RC look good by comparison.

I met Palachick in Paris in 2000. He seemed a nice guy at the time. Later
when he was out of reach he reverted to form. I lost all respect for him
when I realized that he hadn't any idea of what it takes to be a man.
Instead of any heart all he had was mouth. Nothing has changed has it?

Now we're seeing the "new" Ronde Champ, Callistus Valerius, and a couple
others who have so little life that all they can come up with is trolling on
the internet news groups.

They are pitiful creatures at the very best and we rarely see their mediocre
let alone their very best. I've just put them on ignore but there are plenty
of people here who think that these guys are chummy.

Tom, you're on a roll this evening of being rather eloquent. More/less
fiber in your diet lately? Good rides?

BASEBALL SUCKS!

Baseball is like watching paint dry -- in slow motion.

Apparently there is/was a television show in Britain that did just that:
broadcasting images of paint drying. People could call in to vote for their
favourite and vote out ones they disliked.
