Bar Ends: Something to compensate for sweep?
 
Seems like bar ends and sweep are a bad combination - like the sweep will angle
the ends outwards so as to catch brush even easier.

Are there bar ends whose angle can be adjusted to nullify the effect of sweep?

Just use regular ones - but mount 'em vertically. ;-P
