Not just for MUPS
 

I drove out to fetch a pizza yesterday. As I was passing through the
village, I saw ahead of me a dog about to step off the pavement after
crossing the street.

Ono of those reel-type leashes stretched from him to a person standing
in the left-hand lane.

One of the joys of moving here is that Hoosiers love their dogs --
soon after arriving, I mislaid my Halt and never felt the need to
replace it -- but there *are* exceptions.
