There is no charge for admission, but Noah Berry, proprietor of the Broken Drum Brewery, will donate proceeds from food and drink sales to Trips for Kids. There will be drawing for a Jamis Mountain Bike. The bike will be on display at the Broken Drum Brewery and advance raffle tickets will be available for sale at Trips for Kids Re-Cyclery thrift shop at 610 4th Street in San Rafael and at the Broken Drum. Musical entertainment will be provided by E-MAN. Trips for Kids was founded in 1988, to provide San Francisco Bay Area inner city kids the opportunity to challenge and reward themselves with the mountain bike experience. Since then the organization has grown to serve thousands of deserving kids, through 35 Trips for Kids chapters in the United States and Canada. Money raised at the 2004 “Bikes, Brews and Bucks” event will help fund that entire Trips for Kids program.
