Missing Caldwell man found dead at Bogus Basin crash scene

BOISE COUNTY * A missing Caldwell man was found dead Thursday in a crashed vehicle off Bogus Basin Road, Boise County Sheriff's Office said.

The 26-year-old man, who was reported missing Thursday, was last seen Tuesday after going mountain biking. The man's name has not been released.

Boise County Dispatch said they received a call just before 4 p.m. that a truck had been seen down the embankment near milepost 11.

Deputies said that the truck fell about 300 feet down the hill.

Boise County dispatcher Val Dinicola said the area where the crash was located isn't traveled very often in the summer months.
