No Anglophone parade this year

Judging by retirements to date, the anglophones seem to be having a
tough time this year

But despite some small arrears, Contador still looks good for yellow in
Paris

Nibali? He won the Giro last year, but his ITT in the TdF has been a little sketchy. If he's improved there, he might be a factor, but it's hard to imagine he'll be able to hang with Contador on the big hills.

IF Nibali can hang on in the mountains..

But personally Davey doubts it.

depends who you mean by anglophones. if you mean the brits, theres
only 4 or 5 in the race and the 2 main contenders for anything
have gone, so yes. but if you mean english speakers, then there are
loads of usa and oz still in.

with froome gone, this looks like a very open race,
but contador is already 2,50 down, so this wasnt a good day
for him. nibali looks very impressive: how good is he
in the mountains and time trials?

is that colombian climber who impressed last
year in this years race?

Contador took Nibali for a little test drive today. Pretty good stuff.
