That starts out with none other then Zinaida Stahurskaya getting the rub
down, bad girl from Belarus, nice middle segment on the Italian girls, but
you blew it at the end. You should have been shooting Lithuania glamour
queen Modesta Vzesniauskaite from the front instead of the back! She was/is
married to UCI coordinator Marc Covelon.

Zinaida Stahurskaya (Blr), tested positive for Stanozolol during the race GP
Carnevale Europa (Ita) on July 16, 2005, tested positive for
Testosterone during the races Giro di San Marino (SMr) on July 31, 2005 and
during Sparkassen Giro Bochum (Ger) on August 7, 2005,
sanctioned by Federation Bielorusse De Cyclisme, suspension of 2 years from
July 16, 2005 to July 16, 2007, disqualification of the races.

Stahurskaya gets two-year ban
Former world champion Zinaida Stahurskaya has been banned for two years for
doping. The 34 year-old Belarusian tested positive at three European races
last year -
once to anabolic steroid stanozolol and twice to hormone testosterone.

"It is regrettable, but we believe that it will teach her a good lesson,"
Belarus cycling coach Anatoly Miklashevich told AP on Monday. Stahurskaya, who
is currently
training in Italy, won the 2000 world road race title and the women's edition
of the Tour de France in 2002. It is not her first positive test for doping
substances, nor her
first suspension: At the Giro d'Italia Femminile in 2001, she returned a
positive test for a diuretic, and at the Circuito di Massarosa in 2003, for
ephedrine. She was out
of competition for four and two months respectively.

Well yes, this is old news, but you missed the article about her getting popped for dealing steroids? Like I said, Belarus bad girl, but she served her time, and she's finished like 38th in the worlds.

Former world champion Zinaida Stahurskaya, currently serving a two-year
suspension for testing positive to anabolic steroid stanozolol and
testosterone, has now been charged with dealing in illegal doping
products.

According to tuttobiciweb.com, the NAS (Anti-Narcotics Group) of
Firenze, Italy sequestered the 35 year-old Belorussian from her home in
Pistoia three weeks ago. They found large quantities of doping products
including anabolic steroids, most of which were Russian-origin or bought
on the black-market, believing they were intended for sale.

The former world champion and women's Tour de France winner tested
positive at three races in 2005, once to anabolic steroid stanozolol and
twice to hormone testosterone. Stahurskaya would have been allowed to
return to racing in June 2007 after her ban ended, but it is now likely
that she will face trafficking charges in Italy under anti-doping law
376/2000, and be issued a life-sentence.
