Tube Patches (the glue on kind)
I'll just start off by saying that I did a search and didn't get what I needed. So basically I got a flat tire yesterday, so I patched it up with the glue on kind of patch. I've never patched a tire that was going to be used on anything but the road, so I wanted to know how long I can expect the patch to last if I'm gonna ride trials with it. Thanks in advance. -- maximus unius ------------------------------------------------------------------------ maximus unius's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/13699 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/58565 |
Tube Patches (the glue on kind)
I'm not an expert on this, but if you followed the instructions correctly and got a good bond, the patched area is theoretically stronger than the rest of the tube around it. -- johnfoss John Foss Email: "jfoss" at "unicycling.com" -- www.unicycling.com ----------------------------------------------- "pretty much every trail that we've done on the California or Moab Muni weekends is an XC trail." -- Kris Holm, on XC from a North Shore point of view ------------------------------------------------------------------------ johnfoss's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/832 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/58565 |
