Parkgate is (or was) a popular gathering place for those out for a
relaxing stroll along the former waterfront on the Dee estuary (west
side of the Wirral peninsula). It is a historic location (links to
Nelson and Lady Hamilton) and has never been known as a fast through-route.

The phot shows it's a long straight road, ideal for cycling at speed if it
weren't for pedestrians and narrow pavements.

Anything illegal about that?
What is the speed limit for motor traffic along there?

Hi Pam, this thread appears to be getting ever more bizarre. I know
you have undoubted talents but can you really look at a photo of a
street and from that deduce what speed a cyclist was travelling at
when they collided with a pedestrian last Wednesday afternoon?
