CINCINNATI - Beauty pageants, truck pulls, and agricultural
competitions abound in the tri-state's 2011 county fairs. Here's a
look at some of the fairs you can check out in our region.

Ohio Fairs:
•Butler County Fair :
Sunday, July 24th: 12pm – 11pm
Monday, July 25th – Saturday, July 30th: 8am – 11pm
Rides will open Sunday, July 24th at 4pm following inspection. Then
daily at 1pm for the remainder of the fair.
•162nd AnnualClermont County Fair: Sunday July 24 through Saturday
July 30. The fairgrounds open each day at 8a.m. and will close at
midnight.
•156th Annual Hamilton County Fair:
Hosted by Hamilton County's Agricultural Society
Carthage fairgrounds located at 7801 Anthony Wayne
August 9-14, 2011
•The Hamilton County 4-H Community Fair :
It runs July 10-14 at the new location at Stricker's Grove in Crosby
Township.
•Warren County Fair :
July 18 - 23, 2011
Lebanon, Ohio
•Ohio State Fair
July 27 - August 7, 2011
Admission gates: 9 am – 10 pm, except August 7 until 8 pm
Gate Admission Prices
Adults (ages 13-59) $10
Youth (ages 5-12) $8
Senior (ages 60+) $8
Children (under five) Free

Kentucky Fairs:
•Boone County Fair:
August 8 - 13, 2011
Boone County Fairgrounds
5819 Idlewild Road, Burlington, Kentucky
Admission of $8.00 is charged to everyone after: 4:00 p.m. on Monday,
Tuesday, and Wednesday; 2:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday; and 8:00
a.m. on Saturday.
•Kenton County Fair
July 11-16
Admission for the 2011 Kenton County Fair is $8.
A free ride stamp may then be obtained by turning in your admission
ticket at the ride ticket booth.
The rides will be open to the public from:
Monday through Friday:
6:00 until 11:00PM
Saturday: Noon until 11:00PM
On Saturday, the rides are closed from 5-6PM

PARKING
Parking at the Kentucky Exposition Center is $8 for vehicle.
EXHIBIT AND GATE HOURS
Gates open at 7 a.m. and exhibits open at 9 a.m.
The midway and tents close around midnight and exhibit halls close at
10 p.m.
THRILLWAY HOURS
Weekdays (Monday through Thursday) - Open at 2 p.m.
Weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) - Open at Noon

•Indiana State Fair
General Hours for August 5-21, 2011
* Gates Open Daily
8am; 6am on Saturday, August 13
* Gate 18 (off Monon Trail)
Weekdays 10am
* Gates Close
Admission tickets will no longer be accepted/sold after 9:00 pm
(Sun.-Thurs.) and 9:30 pm (Fri. & Sat.)
