Careless cyclist goes over the handlebars

Too fast to stop and over the handlebars, bicycles are dangerous things to
have on the road.

Perhaps she was right...

QUOTE:
The cyclist, who had been riding her bike to work at Holborn's October
gallery, described how another bicycle in front of her suddenly stopped
and forced her to brake sharply. As a result, her back wheel flipped
over and she was sent flying on to the ground. The next thing Ms
Phillips remembers is seeing Mr Miliband in front of her.

This wouldn't happen if cyclists had a sheet of laminated glass in
front of them

It wouldn't have happened if (a) cyclists were trained and (b) if push
bikes were suitable vehicles for adults.

"The cyclist, who had been riding her bike to work at Holborn's October

Complete lack of observation, anticipation & hazard awareness skills +
unstable vehicle.

"The next thing Ms Phillips remembers is seeing Mr Miliband in front of
her".

As if the poor woman hadn't suffered enough.

Motorists are trained and are cars suitable vehicles for adults yet
multi billion pound industries exist because they are incapable of
driving safely.

I assume you mean 'cars are'?

If you put car accidents into the context of the number of miles driven,
they are incredibly safe. Do you want me to repeat the figures & make
you look foolish again?

Push bikes are a very suitable form of transport for many things.
See my other post for a definition of an adult.
