Nexus *7* hub can take either a 1/8 or a 3/32 sprocket. Dawes City Vision
bike with Nexus 7 came with 3/32 sprocket & chain.

You can either ignore these facts or assume that it's probably the same for
the Nexus 8.

I would ignore them unless no one else provides more relevant info!

Should be OK with 1/8" chain as that will work on 3/32 and 1/8 sprockets.
Also 1/8 is a quicker to fit because the joining system is much easier to
handle.

Could be either. 3/32 is normal but it can be fitted with an 1/8
sprocket - my Nexus 7 is using 1/8.

So, if you're asking because you want to know if it's feasible to use a
Nexus on a particular bike, the answer is you can make it work with
either width. If you're asking because you need to buy a chain - check
the thickness of your sprocket and chainwheel.
