San Francisco rides

Visiting San Francisco from Vancouver Island in March. Is it worth
bringing my mountain bike?

If so, anyone have any suggestions re good trails or bike shops where such
info is available?

Thanks in advance

Depends on if you have time and the means to get out of the city. Marin
Headlands just across the GG Bridge has some decent riding, Mt. Tam area is
good, Napa and Sonoma has some great rides but are about an hour north of
the city. Should be able to find plenty of info on the web by searching.

Hell yes! (However, you'll need a car to reach most of the good riding
areas - there's next to nothing in San Francisco proper.)

For lots of information about local rides, see
