Hmm...I think if it were me, I wouldn't want to risk it. It seems like
a better idea to just take the time off now and get healthy as fast as
you can so that you can get back to unicycling as fast...

Well, I am finally making some progress. I have had 3 more practices,
for a total of 11, and I'm definitely doing better. This evening I spent
about 25 minutes with my husband trotting/jogging along...

newbie advice

I find that the Nimbus Gel Saddle combined with Gel-Padded Bike Shorts
got rid of all my soreness.

I don't have the same anatomy as you, so I can't comment on the
squishing problem.

Thanks. I think I'll go with the Large size and let part of my calf be
exposed. I don't use metal-pinned pedals anyway, so I don't expect
there to be much problem from pedal bites.
