Campy NR to 9/10-speed question

It should, I've had no problems using a similar Super Record rear
derailleur on modern 9 speed cassettes and 9 speed chains. As you
suggest, I use mine with a close ratio cassettes, 11-23 to 12-25...

I use the teflon tape normally associated with plumbing repairs (no
way that stuff is going to be washed away) with good success.

If you need to repair a spoke while on the road, carry one of...

ammonia down the seatpost into the frame. Worked great for me, no
damage to the frame nor the paint...

9-Speed FH-7700 Dura Ace Rear Hub

bikes equipped w/ friction changers.

9-Speed FH-7700 Dura Ace Rear Hub

That sounds sort of strange to me. Campy never "changed" their
spacing to my knowledge. And I've got bikes w/ both 9 and 10 speed
Ergo's successfully shifting Shimano 9 and 10 speed...

the largest that Campy offers as well?

I'm pretty sure you could...

So not everyone has seen the light, yet.
