Best Muni/Trials Shoe
I have worn ankle braces like Kevin's(Phlegm). The type I wear has the
laces up the front like a boot, but it adds two velcro straps that go
over and under the foot and up the side of the ankle on...

The bomber shorts sound like a good way to go. I haven't tried them
though.

Best Muni/Trials Shoe
Terry and some other riders really like those shoes. They're nice
especially if you can afford them. You should know they are really
sticky and take some getting used to, but once you get used to...

Also, for figuring out the front and rear. Look at the threaded end of
the pedal that goes into the crank. At the end, you will see a stamped
letter R or a stamped letter L. Right should match...

conditioning question
In order to get in some sort of suitable(he laughs) conditioning for Cal
MUni weekend. I am riding technical MUni on one day on the weekend for
about 1.5 hours to 2 hours. The riding gets my heart...

I only found out about the Spooner just a week ago and was intrigued by
the pix I saw of it. I have used two of Scott Wallis's curved CF
