24 Hour Endurance...
I rode miserably in a 24 hour team race once; here's my cheat sheet on
how to do the same:
1. Nutrition: Missing a proper breakfast doomed the remaining 23 hours
to collapse. There was no recovery...

revamping the old Coker (II: help from friends)
A friend of mine had a flat car tire. The hub was designed to use 4 lug
nuts, but his spare wheel required 5. Eventually a hammer solved this
problem. Called it a "metric conversion". Nice fix for...

monocycles at Beijing olympics
I think it's easier to violently suppress Tibetan independence while on
monocycles.

Richmond, Virginia Trials and Muni ride
Well, I emailed the unicycle roster list for VA, I made a few posts on
Craigslist, I PM'd the riders on the unicom map, and I couldn't leave
the house without a pollution filter all weekend because...

Granted that isn't quite typical Muni riding, tho I had a lot of fun
and I owned all over that trail.

Trials 19in or 24in???
I wouldn't take a 19" trials uni out on the trails unless I was only
going to walk to spots for natural trials. It's strong enough for the
obstacles, but not really large enough to ride a muni...

Is uphill muni really this difficult or am I just
The stronger hill climbers I've seen always seem to use shorter cranks
and a constant "zippy" cadence for the ups. Or at least just a "zippy"
aggressive cadence, the terrain probably dictates the...

Is a 29" tire really 29"?
I'm using the ExiWolf 29" x 2.3" and a rough measurement across it is
28.5" (Salsa Delgado X rim, Nimbus II frame).
Edit: I took another measurement, it's a fat 28.5".

Contact Darren Bedford (based out of Toronto); anything he sells would
