As a rule can road stems (1 1/8th) be used on a mtb or is there a strength
issue? it would be nice to choose from the extended product and price
range.

steam cleaning bicycle frame and components
Is this a good idea assuming everything is well dried before re-assembly? I
would have though that the heat tolerance of the paint on a standard steel
frame would be greater than 100% (?). Any ideas?...
