Recommend a racer?

May be worth checking out Decathlon as their bikes are normally good value
and from memory their road bikes start at about 200 quid. BTW their web
site is crap !!

nexus 8 hub gear chain size

Should be OK with 1/8" chain as that will work on 3/32 and 1/8 sprockets.
Also 1/8 is a quicker to fit because the joining system is much easier to
handle.

Seem to remember somewhere seeing a reference to how many clicks you should
hear when tightening but I can't remember where !!

Paul, I suspect that the Marathon + will be enough puncture prevention. I
have them on a few of our utility and electric bikes and no punctures so
far, despite glass and thorns.

I was thinking the same with regard to that bib. It's really a bit ugly and
quite small. Decided to fit it on the bike rather than on me. It fits
quite nicely over the handlebars on a Brompton...

Has anyone got a RH pedal tap 9/16" that they would be willing to loan me.
I've got a slightly damaged thread and the pedal is not screwing in
smoothly. I don't want to damage the thread any more...
