Okay, fess up, who uses an aluminum bike in the winter?

I scrubbed out the frame with kerosene and hosed it down with Frame
Saver when I had it apart; hopefully that and liberal greasing of stem
and seatpost will keep the oxidation at bay. ...

Titanium cassette: long life?

OK, a ti. cassette will be lighter than steel. But will it have a longer
life? Does Ti. wear better (less) than steel under similar riding styles?

Other pros & cons?

Thanks.

Your trainer's grandfather

I was thinking that there was a v-belt missing in that setup, it looked
like it was supposed to drive the front wheel for some reason (note
pulleys on roller axles.) Still can't figure out...

What's the seat tube diameter on a early-mid 90's Zaskar LE? I can't find it
anywhere, my frame is elsewhere, and I'm being offered a good deal on a nice

Help: Fitting Disk Brakes to an older bike

Nothing but praise for 7's and little of it for 5's.

What to look for in a seatpost?

without such internal pockets?

Maybe keep a roll of bubblewrap in there to set your books on when you see
that there will be much empty space?...
