I think you may find that in this case 'back pocket' is actually a
euphemism for another part of the body.

Cycle jerseys often have a pouch at the back designed to carry food and drink for those who don't want the extra weight of bottle cages or luggage.
I prefer the luggage option (JVTV flashback) as my bicycle is a utility vehicle not a tennis racket.
