If it is raining I usually stick to road riding. Freestyle is next to
impossible if it is raining. The entire unicycle becomes slippery and
dangerous.
For road riding I use standard lightweight rain gear. Cycling rain
gear is made for a less upright riding position, so I think the
standard type is better. The light weight fabric is ok except in really
heavy rain.
I also use waterproof boot covers like 'these'
