By the way, the collective noun for cyclists is "peloton" not "pack".
Is it? It seems to be a very recent intruder derived from the French
for" small balls" according to the Oxford Dictionaries site.
Rather unfortunate. A croissant of cyclists would have been less
embarrassing. In any event it only applies to the push bike riders in
a race (where the cumulative effects of saddle irritation and a
predilection for drugs may make it quite accurate).
Possibly for a pack of standard issue push bikers - an annoyance of
cyclists, an embarrassment of cyclists, an irritation of cyclists, a
drizzle of cyclists?
I prefer a rabble of cyclists.
A slime of Judiths.
Nah, it's a one-off. Luckily.
