Default Cheap 6v 4aH SLA Batteries

On 2006-05-10, HughMann (aka Bruce)
was almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea:

For those not frightened of carrying an anchor on their bike these SLA
batteries are really cheap.
Just got the "Supercheap Auto" flier and they have those million candle
power rechargeable lamps on sale for $9.99

Pity the company caters to ****knuckles who think it is a good idea to
blast out their thump thump crap at 2:00am.

Simple job to open the lamp up, extract battery, poke around for a
convient spot to drill a hole for the wires that were on the battery so
that they will pass out through the case and attach to the battery for
charging. Re assemble the lamp. Attach the charger to the lamp as
normal. Of course the light itself is totally useless for bike use.
After about 5 minutes the battery strains to keep the 55watt globe at
full brightness. Good for "spotting" possums in the top of the palm
trees.

Or a very short term light that can be directed into the eyes of the
****knuckle who is about to pull out in front of you.
