Default Bicycle Touring Website -- Bicycle Touring On Car Free Paths

some touring cyclists (tour easys, of course) have been working on a non-commercial website on the great long distance bicycling paths in north america -- where they are, why you'd want to ride them, camping and lodging, ice cream and beer, what to look for along the way.

it's at: http://bicycletouringoncarfreepaths.org/

the great allegheny, c&o, greenbrier, mickelson, p'tit train du nord, and the pine creek trails are all covered in considerable detail. the trips are anywhere from a long weekend to a couple of weeks.

we hope other touring cyclists will help keep the information up to date, give their own advice on how to plan for the trips, and add new trips. if you ride the paths and find a campsite, or b&b, or ice cream place, or something to look for along the way, hope you'll add it to the site.
