The practice of drivers ramming cyclists to make them get out of the
way is no doubt promoted by the lowly status of cyclists in general on
our roads today and the widespread acceptance of the use of a car as a
weapon. Sooner or later it will end with someone getting killed, if it
has not already, but in the meantime it just damages bikes so why
should the motorists care?
