Default Can 7800 Brake pads be used on 7700 Brakes?

One issue I had with the kool stops was where the kool stop pad flared out
as I'd prefer to use Kool stop and had on mtn bikes in years past. The LBS
said to stick with the DA pads. I switch wheels from training to Zipp race
wheels and it became a noticeable. Do all the Kool stop flare out. Any
suggestions besides trying to shave it off with a razor blade & a finger or
to in the process.

Thanks

Barb

If they fit, you could use them. But, many of the regulars here,
recommend Kool Stop Salmon pads.
Here, take a look:

I have them on both of my bikes, and I am very happy with them. On the
old [1976] road bike, the improvement was obvious. On my LeMond, they
stop good, wear well, and don't seem to hold any rim damaging road
crap. Highly recommended!
