I hve not used any with recording and HRM, but if you buy a wireless,
especially to use from the bars to the rear wheel, make sure you get
it somewhere you can return it. I went through 3 wireless units
intended for rear wheel use before giving up and going wired. The one
I'm using now shares a wire for cadence & speed, since the crank
passes over the chain stay near the wheel. All of the wireless models
I used picked up interference that rendered average speed and total
distance traveled, the 2 #'s I care most about, useless. They get the
right info 99% of the time but that other 1% throws averages and
totals way off. Speaking of which, anyone want a killer deal on a
Mavic WinTech FS? Only used for one ride, still has original
packaging and even original zip-ties unopened.
