Default Paris night ride and the Loire

In Sept 04, I rented a decent bike for several days from LeBlond in Blois,
located about a mile downstream from the main bridge/intersection. Of
course, the Blois Chateau is right in town and one of the most interesting.
Chambord is about 15 miles away; and Chenonceau maybe 25, although you can
put the bike on a train and get there. You can also take the train to
Tours, from which Villandry and Azey le Rideau are close. Plus Tours has
quite a few attractions in its own right - e.g. enjoy a outdoor lunch at
Place Plumereau, and walk or bike through the old section of town near
there.

Anyone ever done the Paris night ride with Fat Tire? A group of us are
going in July and are thinking about signing up and giving the City of
Lights a try.

We are also going to the Loire Valley and hoped to rent some bikes and
ride to some Chateaus. Anyone know of a good shop to rent bicyles? What
cycling maps can anyone recommend? Any favorite route?

Thanks!
