Then show me how it's done, sidewalk superintendent. The fact is,
you don't have a clue how to deal successfully with the mountain
biking problem.

You see, that's your problem, defining the hypothesis.
There Is No Mountain Biking Problem.

There is Global warming, Slash and burn agriculture,
the changing of the PH of the oceans, Pipelines built on
permafrost that is no longer permafrost, All kinds of Toxic
Residue from Industrial Activities, destruction of tidelands
and estuaries.

The consequences of rotating tires in the wilderness powered
by muscle alone doesn't even make the first thousand on the
environmental problem list, nor the first ten thousand.

The problem doesn't exist. I suppose that makes you irrelevant.

If that were true, mountain bikers wouldn't be working overtime to
lobby and create bogus "scientific studies" to prove it. Where there's
smoke, there's fire.

Yawn.

If the smoke is crying wolf about an effectively irrelevant
environmental issue, and the fire is junk science, your paranoid
delusions, illusions of grandeur, and hypocrisy, and an inability to
understand the phrase "order of magnitude", then you are correct.- Hide quoted text -

Oh, he understands "order of magnitude" just fine. However, Mike has
stated more than once that the big things will "take care of
themselves." It is his way of avoiding having to deal with them so he
can focus on his pet peeve.
