By the way, it seems a bit strange to me that Effective Rim Diameter is
defined to include the thickness of the spoke nipple heads, as shown in
Gene's link and in other links. It seems more logical to define it as
purely a rim dimension. In principle, that spoke nipple dimension could
vary from brand to brand.
However, this discrepancy isn't relevant for my situation.
