Can anyone say if any of these bikes are any good. They sell at
auction for 40-50 pounds. Sorry about the caps (cut and paste job).

These four don't have suspension and are thus worth the effort. Avoid
all the others like the plague.

thanks, what is so bad about suspension on a bike ?

If it's any good it's very expensive; if it's cheap it's heavy; and even
if it is good it isn't normally useful on smooth surfaces - good
suspension units have switches to lock them rigid for use on the road.
Good suspension is only better than no suspension on really rough
surfaces; bad suspension is never better than no suspension, and it's
heavier and there are more things to go wrong or break.

There aren't any full suspension bikes worth buying under £1,000. A good
pair of suspension forks will set you back about £300, a good rear
suspension unit about the same.
