A cyclist has died after being hit by a lorry in west London on Monday
morning.

The reports that emergency services were called to the junction
between Fulham Road and Redcliffe Gardens in Chelsea at 10.43am
but the cyclist, believed to be in his 50s, was pronounced dead
at the scene.
I wonder if the lorry was turning left and the cyclist tried to
squeeze past it?

It was posted to the wrong group, and cancel post never actually works.
It is always amusing to see what the cyclist group reacts with to such
news stories, somehow it will be the old lady's fault for delaying the
cyclist or somesuch. There does seem to be an alarming predilection for
cyclists to attack lone females.

The report (the ES site) I saw was about an incident in or near Chesea
(and in particular, near a hospital). No mention of an old lady.

Do you have a link to another version, please?

I do apologise, my postings went to all the wrong groups. My original
post was about an old lady on a zimmer frame being knocked over and
robbed by a cyclist.

Normal Unwashed Northerner behaviour, nothing to do with the mode of transport.
