Didn't the late Medway Highwayman used to say that cyclists were "considerably richer than yow"?
That phrase was introduced here by me, as a reference from the
Harry Enfield character, after a spate of cyclists claiming that they
were rich.
The character portrayed was a boorish, under-educated, arriviste yob who
thought he was better than everyone else he met. So as you will no doubt
agree, it fits very well in this context.
