Oh, just a county average so they don't need to lose sleep over it
compared to death by motorist. As it happens, Northampton's overall
pedestrian ksi is 3 times the national average by population and over 4
times higher than, for example, Oxfordshire, a county of similar size
and population.

By the way, the casualty stats for 2016 give pedestrians killed by
distance walked - far better than idiotic vehicle-miles. One per 28m
miles. Compared to cyclists of one per 34m miles.
