Perhaps the cyclist did stop, and the pedestrian, when the adrenalin had
kicked in (the pedestrian also being of the sort that is permanently
apologetic), told the cyclist, "Sorry. I will be alright in five minutes
so just carry on."

And the cyclist, like a lot of people, doesn't read the local rag or
listen to local radio.


He is also innocent until proven guilty in this country.
