My experience finding knockout used bikes for peanuts is in ateas

Brentwood for example. There are thrifts, Salvation Army, where
lurking in a corner are 4-5 slightly unused examples of late '70's
-90's cycles.
dissassemble, paint ID, grease and go. And save for a 2010 component
rebuild.
These bikes may be less robust than contemp bikes.
As to the LHT, what several of us bring forth, building the bike is
more rewarding all around than buying one tho frame then components
counts fersure.
I was looking for WW canoes.With the recession, I expected to find one
nom problem. Instead, I found paddles who had found recession sold
canoe and kayaks. The looking/not looking then finding problem.hata
