Default 2019 - you MUST leave a 5 foot overtaking gap!

The miserable faction will no doubt be up in arms about why they should
give 1.5m when overtaking a *moving* cyclist but the cyclist is not
required to give the same gap when overtaking their *stationary* vehicle.


The pushbike rider is not required to give any sort of gap whether the
vehicle is moving or not.

Besides, almost everybody (vocal cyclists included) will fail to notice
that it is 1.5m wheel to wheel, not mirror to elbow. A strange omission
by whatever government organistion put this forward.


It isn't 1.5m anything to anything 1.5m is not in the Highway Code at
all and even the CTC or whatever they call themselves this week oppose
a mandatory passing distance.
