Right, but they absolutely had to build a very costly nonsensical mural
next to Hwy 50 to make our village appear like El Dorado hills, which it
can never do. Then they shoo'd away Trader Joe's which would have gushed
beaucoup tax dollars into the local coffers. Tax dollars which now flow
into Folsom, from which they build bike paths and maintain road, which
consequently are in much better shape than ours.


Grocery stores are not big revenue generators because there is no sales
tax on food. With Trader Joe's there is revenue from alcohol sales,
carbonated beverages, and a few sundry items, but that's about it.

There are smart community leaders and then there are not so smart ones.
