Like I said - no stone will be left unturned for their own.


And they were arrested, whereas those who knock off cyclists by
dangerous driving and flee the scene are often (if the police even
bother to go and look for them) given "words of advice".


Look on the bright side: this is a _spectacular_ own goal by the police and
the CPS (the latter since I don't doubt that the CPS will charge for
attempted murder). It basically hands British cyclists _carte blanche_ [1]
to administer justice yourselves.

No cyclist in the UK should venture abroad unarmed, as from now.
