I ride on pavements nearly all the time. I'm afraid to ride on the road.
But also a) most of the pavements round here are also cycle paths or b)
I often ride with my son and even when I'm riding my bike I ride with
him on the pavement. He's way to unpredictable to let cycle on a busy
road.
