Quite a good race considering the flat route with the break just staying
away. I thought the Leemans brother was going to take it but that drag at the end made it a bit tough and the French seem to be making a comeback (the other Frenchman in the break who chased down Leemans deserves some credit). Its a bit disquieting that a Zabel was 5th not 2nd. I wonder if the drag at the end might give Gilbert or Hushovd a chance if their teams can make the race really hard. |

Hard to call, the weather forecast is good, no chance of rain and dry roads, as a team I go for the Australians but whether they can get Goss over the line first remains to seen. The strongest teams teams are gonna try to ride at the front most of the time in case anyone stacks it and takes out half the peleton so I think it's gonna be a really hard race...maybe Fast Phil can do it but in similar stages in the TdF HTC always hauled him in. S'gonna be tight, I'm looking forward to it. -- |
