Hard to argue with that. The freaking light was yellow when he was hit.
If he would have waited 10 seconds he would have had the light.

most of the potential cycle-vehicle accidents I see here at Terminus are cycle caused ...stands to reason no problem ...it is what it is ....low cost transport for low cost people

Hard to say what most means. Around here a lot of the accidents are
truck related. The city allows big trucks on narrow streets, especially
this year with all the "renovation" for the 375th anniversary. Truck
driver's union and cycling organizations are both calling for better
tech on trucks but nothing is happening yet.

Very many of the serious or fatal truck-bike crashes seem to occur when
a cyclist tries passing a truck on the curb side, and the trucker turns
over the cyclist. This is what killed most of the women in London a few
years ago.

In most cases, it could be prevented if the cyclist did not pass on the
right, whether there's a bike lane or no. But so many are deathly
afraid of moving away from the curb.

To put it another way: Some people are calling for better software
between cyclists' ears, but nothing is happening yet.

If it's the same video I sawthen the light facing the bicyclist was RED when he roade into the intersection. Yet on other forums people are saying it was the driver's fault for hitting the bicyclist.

The video shows why it's not a good idea to run red lights when there are other vehicles around.

Cheers

The light for the driver turned yellow about when he hit the cyclist. The
cyclist clearly ran the red.
