Default TREK MADONE - Ebay Very Interesting!

Here is a new Ebay posting (I am not the seller):

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ategory=72 98

Interesting picture.
No frame size? Looks like this bike fits everyone.
Note that the seller has a good feedback - always as a buyer.
Note that the seller used to only buy decorative chinaware (plates and
cups), but has branched out into selling race bikes.

Very interesting!

Did you forward it to ebay security?

When someone doesn't accept paypal, the bells go off in my head.

My buddy works at Trek (I live in Madison, Wi). Not saying this is the
case, but Trek gives great discounts to employees, and they have had
to fire people for selling bikes on ebay. The discount is around 50
percent, so go figure? Just a thought

Jay- When someone doesn't accept paypal, the bells go off in my head.
BRBR

Shouldn't. Lots of retailers, like us and GroundZero, don't accept Paypal, when
we already use credit cards.

This is the same auction that was the subject of an earlier thread. It has
been yanked by eBay.

When it is a legitimate brick-and-mortar retailer, or an etailer with a
track record, I have less of a concern. When the seller has never sold a
bike before, has a "stock" photo of an item or has registered in one
location, and the item is in another... this is cause for alarm.

Also a new bike at 40% of retail.

i'm not a huge fan of PayPal.

if you upgrade your account to accept CC's, they gouge you on Checking
Account payments. total BS and a big cash-cow for them, i'm sure.

i only accept non-CC PayPal
