Default weakening sidewalls by taking off and putting back a lot?

if you take tire off and put it back on a wheel a lot,
does that eventually weaken the sidewalls enough to cause
a blowout?

what if the tire is exceptionally hard to take off and put on?

You have to be careful with tire irons, if you slide them with a lot of
pressure you can abrade the fabric where it covers the bead.

use your thumbs under the bead (not your palms on the sidewall) to seat the
tire.

don't worry .. the skin on your thumbs will eventually callous. the
continental/campag rim combo is particuliarly brutal. i use vittorias 'cause
of this.
