Default "Drunk driver slams 11 cyclists"

I wonder, could one cyclist slam 11 motorists?

"Eleven people were injured — some of them suffered catastrophic
injuries — when a drunk driver looked down at her cell phone and
plowed into a group of 100 cyclists early Thursday in Culver City. At
least two of the victims were listed in critical condition.

• A suspected drunk driver who was speeding and talking on her cell
phone drove into a large group of cyclists and injured at least 11 of
them.

• Nine of the cyclists were hospitalized with serious injuries. Two
of them were in critical condition.

• The driver was arrested for misdemeanor driving under the
influence and was released on $15,000 bail..."

You can add SatNavs to the long list of distractions.

FAIL!

OT

Another attempt to make some point or other by citing an arbitrary
news item in a vain attempt to make some kind of connection, which
does not exist. Yet again, no point is actually made, no argument
won, and the intellectual vacuum that is the OP continues.

Just because you are unable to comprehend the point doesn't mean it
doesn't exist.

The point is that motorists pose a considerable danger to cyclists
which is not reciprocated and yet similar traffic laws are applied to
both, which is unfair, unsafe and inequitable. From this it may be
deduced that cyclists are discriminated against in law.

Get it?

Absolute crap. Your deduction skills are non-existent from this
argument, and even your initial premise is badly flawed.

No, the point is you have an anti-car agenda, and pretend to be
concerned about cyclists in order to promote it.

No. Cycle weapons are even more useless than car weapons.

"Eleven people were injured — some of them suffered catastrophic
injuries — when a drunk driver looked down at her cell phone and
plowed into a group of 100 cyclists early Thursday in Culver City. At

Car weapons aren't much better. 100 cyclists and only 11 casualties.
Pathetic. A Browning M1917 with two belts could have finished off the lot.

Meds says cycling is very safe.
