Detailed information on Road Closure for Alpe d'Huez time-trial
Hi all
http://grenoblecycling.free.fr/images/21stJuly2004.jpg In this months Isere magazine (see above scan), details have been published of travel arrangements on the day of the Alpe d'Huez time trial. The road between Vizille and Bourg d'Oisans will be closed for the day to automobile traffic from 06:00 on the 21st July. 200 coaches will be running every minute from 05:00 to 11:00 to take spectators to the foot of Alpe d'Huez. The cost of a return ticket will be 5 Euro. There are three departures, the Grenoble bus station, Alpexpo and the Domaine Universitie in St Martin d'Heres, and places are assured on the coaches between 05:00 and 08:00. The return trips will start from 16:00 in Bourg d'Oisans. For more information, you can call +33 (0) 4 76 26 17 32. I hope that this helps if you're coming across.
